We were absolutely thrilled to be a part of the inaugural Haywards Heath’s Got Talent competition, a night filled with incredible talent and unforgettable moments! πŸŽ€πŸŽ‰

The Town Mayor, Cllr Stephanie Inglesfield, had this to say about the extraordinary performers:

“The performers were of such a high calibre. From the stunning performances by Emma Aldridge, Danielle Hoyle Matilda, Sammy Doyle, and Gemma Aldridge in the heats to Riareh Deville’s captivating presence and Sophie Van Den Boomen’s powerful voice, the evening was a true celebration of talent. Sylvia Bacci, with her delightful voice and infectious smile, took us on a journey, both geographic and artistic. The runner-up, OlΓ Easton, charmed us all with his rich voice and crooning style.”

The real star of the night, however, was the winner, 15-year-old sensation Daisy Leppard. The judges were convinced she has a West End future, and her performances proved it. From her beautiful rendition of “On My Own” from Les MisΓ©rables to her powerful and moving version of “I Will Survive,” Daisy left the audience spellbound. Her talent and emotion were beyond her years, and we couldn’t be prouder to have witnessed her incredible journey.Β

We’re also grateful to have had a fantastic panel of judges, including BBC Radio’s Sarah Gorrell, local diva Cylvian Flynn, seasoned Arts professional Susan Fleet MBE, and a very familiar face, our own Simon Cowell look-alike, Andy Penfold! Their invaluable feedback will undoubtedly guide these talented performers in their careers.

This amazing event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our fellow sponsors: Orchards Shopping Centre, Rok Skool Sussex, and Haywards Heath Social Club. Together, we raised over Β£600 for the MND Association and Hope and Homes for Children charity.

The Haywards Heath Arts Festival 2023 has truly showcased the vibrant and creative spirit of our town, and we’re grateful to be a part of it. What a fabulous evening of talent and community spirit! 🌟🎢 #HaywardsHeathGotTalent
